Bamboo Moon School: Mondulkiri, Cambodia

The school was designed as an extension to the facilities in a rural school in Mondulkiri. Making use of rammed earth walls and a bamboo roof it provides a natural solution to a school in a community which supports conservation efforts in the region.

The wide overhanging roof allows for natural shading of the walls and provides outside learning and play spaces.

The existing two room shack would be retained as a community building..
